Is Indian Guides like Boy Scouts? Indian Guides has some similar activities, such as camping and pinewood derby, however our focus is on Father/Son relationships, rather than sending your son to these events with a troop leader, often another adult or parent.
How much does Indian Guides cost? Wichita Nation is part of the Bear Creek Federation which is a not for profit organization. All of the monies collected for dues go towards funding the Nation's events. The 2011-12 season dues for Indian Guides is $150 per family, regardless of the number of sons/braves you register. The dues cover the cost for the Bowling Party, a Rocket Kit, a Pinewood Derby Kit, Camping Fees for all Campouts and several more events throughout the season, depending on final membership numbers and budget flexibility.
